Maharajah curry at Boat Quay★2011/09/05 02:10
Marina Bay Sands – The night Sky Park ← previous post
Last day, the 4th day in Singapore
.. I’m taking ages to blog just on Singapore..

And it’s lunch-time

When one having a lassi drink, you should know what we are going to have for lunch

I forgot what curry though..

an Indian restaurant at Boat Quay~

The boss of Maharajah
He has the look of a boss~
 He was great

Two
lovey-dovey pigeons
 at Boat Quay.

This is my last post for Singapore on this trip.
2 days at Geylang, a nostalgia place which I enjoyed quite much though this place not too popular among my friends
. All budget hotels gathered around Geylang
Then, we had Megazip at Sentosa Island. That was great~
All the way from the mountain to the ocean
Stayed 1 night at Marina Bay Sands hotel (the main purpose on this trip), mostly just for it’s infinity pool → the sky pool

Had a romantic night
 too at the sky park

Overall, Singapore is a city with lights
 very happening and fun

Marina Bay Sands – The night Sky Park★2011/08/03 23:35
Marina Bay Sands – SkyPark, SkyPool !! ← last post
After experiencing swimming on top of the world at the sky pool, we went back to our kingly spacious room, took a shower and a bubbly bath, and changed
for dinner~

Snap-shots before dinner

Great night view of a lightened up city
Dinner-time at Rise restaurant, an all day dining buffet style restaurant.

SG$68 per person .. I don’t know whether it is a lil’ bit pricey for what it has or it is actually quite reasonable in a hotel like this..

 +

 and Cheese Salad plate
The serious-face eating all the plates~

After dinner, we then back to the top at the sky park breezy break~

The quiet sky pool at night
the pool is not opened at night though..

Sneaker x night dress how is it

Marina Bay Sands – SkyPark, SkyPool !!★2011/06/17 01:28
At last, the infinity panoramic city view Sky Pool

This is one of where we wanted to experience after seeing some promotion articles from Marina Bay Sands hotel

though my passion was mostly for it’s sky park pool~
How fascinating~

As if, a piece of heaven looking upon the world

Was trying to take some pics on high shuttle speed..

I love the ocean, love the nature, but sometimes a pool up above on a city could be very exciting

Love the gradation of the sky

 How romantic

in real, do expect loads more people..
As if, swimming on a cloud..

..2 guys.. sorry..no girls were around..
haha

Have a look at the edge of the pool

.
.
.
When you see the fact that it is fully concreted, just can’t help to feel a lil’ bit of disappointment.. though it is expected

Marina Bay Sands Hotel – snapshots of Horizon Deluxe King★2011/06/08 03:00

..my updates are so slow..
Anyway, in day 3 we transfered to Marina Bay Sands Hotel, which actually our main reason this time to Singapore
 – for it’s infinity panoramic city view sky pool

This hotel is known as a 5 stars hotel

and I expected a more welcoming reception and a more luxurious lobby
Never expected that a new, big known hotel lobby could be like a shopping mall full of people standing around talking loudly with no lounge or sofas visible for a rest..
the atmosphere here is just not so right for what to be expected..

A lil’ bit of disappointment here..
Anyhow, I was very much more expecting a great time at the pool though

Once we stepped in to our room, I can’t believe that I spent quarter of the day just wow-ing and camwhoring around the room..

A whole piece of mirror on the wall – an impact once we stepped in

The room is huuuuuge

Marina Bay Sands Hotel – Horizon Deluxe King (city view) room for a night
The sea view might be great, but in Singapore, the city view could be more magnificent
 especially the night view

Love the big window

 especially the retro one

 and the video camera-man always

Quarter of a day, we spent it on cam and vid-cam whoring just in the room

Day 2 Singapore, in Sentosa Island★2011/04/10 04:15
Halo~
I’m lagging in updating my trip blog..
and my YouTube Halo~ Konnichiwa trip-log is going to Cambodia next..
 ..so much left behind here..
Anyway, we were in Singapore. – the first place in our trip schedule.
Day 2, we went to Sentosa Island for a walk with my friend, Brenda

Sentosa Island is a man-made island with a man-made beach, a very happening beach with all sort of activities

At least, we tried ONE of all activities

The MEGAZIP

Not cheap but not bad. It was SGD$29.00 / ride.
Second or more ride after that will be SGD$20.00 / ride.

So fast, so high up, so thrilling, so scary at the starting

And I snap
, snap
, snap
, snap
, snap
so much when the speed started to slow down at the bottom after all the trees~~

 Snap this
for this

 Snap this
for this
Megazip was fun~
I love the part when flying through the forest~

The Halo~ Konnichiwa video of Megazip

After Megazip, we just had a walk along the beach, watching people, and so..
didn’t had enough time to visit the whole Sentosa Island though..

We were actually viewing some pictures from my camera..
but I kinda love this shot

Journey to Singapore!★2011/03/08 00:10
	I lied..
I said I’ll be updating my trip on my blog xxx days? ago and I didn’t..

Sorry..and I hate it too when I’m being lazy..

at least I made new video very often now on YouTube!

Anyway, I’m gonna blog on my lil’ trip around Asia

I’m sharing tips of backpacking and for those who loves travelling!

I’ve moved my whole house from Tokyo to Hokkaido! I had my last few days at my old house in Tokyo trying to clean and pack everything and send everything to Hokkaido home~
We had to depart straight to Malaysia from Tokyo after the house-moving..
Didn’t really had time to really really organized my trip to the MAX, but I did make a lot of research and planned my schedule for a BackPack

My planned schedule 2 months before we depart

	.
	.
	.

And so we departed on the 6th of October 2010 from Narita (Tokyo) to KLIA (Kuala Lumpur), 3 of us, Mami, Yapi, and me

There’re various ways to Narita from Tokyo and this time we took the New Skyliner which we have not been on one before!

		Only
		36 mins

		 – it has always been an hour to Narita

The New Skyliner now is,

		 More spacious!

		 Well-designed!

		 Faster!

Yeah, I went to a few places in Malaysia but I guess I wanna keep Malaysia as my last one to blog

So on the 22 October, we took 5hours in a bus instead of 45mins in a plane from Malaysia to Singapore..

The reason is, coz the bus is way more cheaper

and the bus was great compare to any of the budget flights!

		AEROLINE
bus, is comfortable with big seats, lounge in the bus with big TV, yummy lunch is served, and the service captain was really PRO and polite

		Price
		RM90
(from Bandar Utama, Malaysia → Harbour Front, Singapore)
		RM70
		(back to Malaysia!)
Not a waste of time at all even if took 5 hours all the way to Singapore! Experiencing the journey is one of an excitement too!

		AEROLINE
		Official website:

			https://www.aeroline.com.my/

Video on my journey with
AEROLINE

Click YouTube and watch it there for bigger size!!

This bus series a lil’ bit boring.. but yeah, just get an idea how does the bus looks like!!

And so, we arrived!
Basically, I haven’t been to Singapore since I was a kid and I didn’t really know how it works in Singapore..
When I first arrived in Singapore

We arrived at Harbour Front and I didn’t know whether I should take a cab or the subway to my hotel..
Just walked around, to the mall, up and down, till we saw a MRT station in the mall!!

I know I need to go to Aljunied Station

	 where my hotel is

A sign at the MRT station reminding parents that their kids are now old enough that you have to PAY!!
It takes only 10mins ~ 15mins from Harbour Front to Aljunied station

In Aljunied, again we have to look at the map to search for the hotel..

A hotel 20mins away from the station.. and we’ve walked for an hour (or more!!) to reach

On the way, we walked pass all these old shops

	.
	.
	.

I always have an image that Singapore is a big city with modern buildings everywhere

But when I first arrived here, I was impressed

I love old retro stuffs, love the atmosphere, and the feel of nostalgia

By the way, this place is called
		Geylang
		.

Geylang
is an old town of Singapore, a town which is kept as it has been since the past 20 years.
It is not a place pretty much straightened-up. Quite a lot of snack bars (prostitution) around
Geylang
as well. Girls walking alone in Geylang, be descent or you will be the target of hunger-for-sex uncles on the street!

Geylang
is also a place where all the budget hotels are gathered!!!

Ruby
First 2 days, we stayed in this hotel and it was cheap!
		Twin Room –
		SGD$65 / night

Room was moderately clean

Space quite small..but it was ok

Love the location

to see a more cultural side of Singapore.

Staffs were fairly good!

Wifi is not free!!

Geylang
main street traffics in the evening.

It was so hazy when we were there caused by the fire in the forest from Indonesia..
