A brand new year!!

2020.. the year that looked so “future” in the past!
And it’s already here 

Are we going to have our flying car sooooon?

They are some targets that I want to achieve this year or maybe the following years!

○ I want to live at a place with fresher air!!

○ I want to go to a beach with blue ocean and fine sand in summer.

○ I want to go to a snow mountain in winter.

○ I want to bring my mom to travel.

○ I want to go to a spa with professional massaging to relieve stiffness in my body.. I think I’m in a severe state of that..

○ I want a bigger bed!

○ I want a bigger house for that bigger bed and of course to accommodate all my little-big-bosses!!

○ I want to start up a business to make some extra money in order to achieve all stated above!! Haha! Wish me luck!

○ I want to lose at least 6kgs!

and last but not least,
○ I want to blog my everyday life with my little-big-bosses with no excuses like “I’m too busy, or so  – they’re just too cute that I really shouldn’t miss out putting it as a form of memory for myself here. I just missed out the whole year of them!!!!!

Well, let’s live 2020 to the fullest!

The last day of the year!

We ate Year-crossing soba (年越しそば)!

Never been updating but at least one for 2019 (^^;

Wishing everyone is going to have a wonderful and amazing year of 2020!

This year Valentine’s Day, my big-boss was not around~ 

I don’t have anything myself,

but made a few heart-shaped treats for my Little-big-bosses

When I knew that I was pregnant, needless to say, I was super excited   

How I wished to tell everyone the good news, just like anyone would do.

Even after I’ve got through my first trimester, a stable stage during pregnancy, I was still reluctant to get this news to public.., even to my friends..

Unlike my first pregnancy, which went all public with overly excitement us, who did not think much of any circumstances that might occurred..

What I wanted to reveal is, exactly one year before I knew I was pregnant with my new Little-big-boss, I was pregnant

But a miscarriage..
I felt like I was brought up high to the sky when I got a “line” on the pregnancy test, and being slammed back down to the bottom of the earth  when the doc told me that this baby is not likely to be growing inside my tummy..

There was no heartbeat detected on my 7 weeks checkup..

This miscarriage was really an experience for me. A valued one.

I was shocked and sad, but not extremely.

I did my research and knew that, especially for an early miscarriage, it was not an accident, nor a fault from the outside or inside. It was a coincidence.

It was due to chromosomal abnormality. A cause that is biologically natural that would occurred to anyone, even if you are a completely healthy person.

It was said that in 10 pregnancies, there is a very high percentage that one pregnancy will end up on a miscarriage of chromosomal abnormality..
Just that I got it on my second pregnancy.. (kinda? )

It is not a rare case.

To think of me myself is a living being, this miscarriage is just a natural occurrence. Not a thing that can be prevented.
In fact, I considered this as lucky, where I didn’t carry this  abnormality to a further stage..
Most of the time, the nature is all made up very fine itself. The body knows something is wrong and tried to terminate it.

This fact balanced up my shattered feeling a lot.

Though sad and confused, I was kinda ok with my feeling.

Just that, I was afraid to face the upcoming pain.

I chose not to have a D & C surgery (Dilation and Curettage). I chose to wait for the fetus to come out by itself.

I was told that I shouldn’t wait for too long for it might cause an infection.

Yeah, I can’t deny that I was still carrying a slight hope that this baby is growing inside.. maybe the doc missed out something, or maybe the heart hasn’t start beating yet only?, lost counting cz of my irregular menstruation? 

I had a time limit of 4 weeks, if nothing miracle or the not-growing fetus is not coming out naturally, I will have to undergo the D & C procedure..

Obviously, there was no miracle.

I waited without any signs but knowing that my baby is not growing inside me..for like more than 3 weeks.
-It was dreadful..

A few days before my D & C appointment, I started bleeding.

At last some sign!

Bleeding from really light to heavy with lots of clots. One of this clots is supposedly the fetus..

I was still bleeding until the day of my appointment..

I was hoping that my tummy is cleared but no.. fetus still there..
But doc said it will come out soon, so we decided not to perform the surgery yet.

True enough, at night on the same day, I felt like my womb was going to tear off! Felt so heavy and pain. Much bleeding and with more clots! Big one!

Some people said this felt like a mini labor, and I couldn’t agree more.

The pain came very gradually.

Felt so much pain at one point and so much was coming out that I need to get rid of them in the toilet..

…

The great pain subsided on the same night..

Went to the doc the next day, and as expected, all is gone.

I was relieved.
Studies and researchers revealed that early miscarriage (due to chromosomal abnormality) is not all a bad news. It also proved that we can conceive normally, and most likely the next pregnancies are going to be good one with a healthy baby  Most of the time, miscarriage is a one-time occurrence.

So if anyone is experiencing the same case, don’t worry too much!
This is also an episode of life  which still not a bad one, just a coincidence.
(If this is hard for you to accept, maybe try to think that your baby forgot something and he just went back to God to get it )

My only concern after that was, I couldn’t made it to give a look on my not-growing fetus..

2-3 months of rest, we tried to conceive again. I wish that my baby comes back to me as soon as possible to fill my lost.

And he did! -exactly 1 year after that

Grandpa actually had been attending cooking school and GRADUATED  not long ago after his retirement (though now back to work out of some circumstances).

We had our wonderful feast too the whole week! 
Thank you so much for the hospitality, grandpa and grandma

Since everyone is back home celebrating Chinese New Year,
and posting pictures that is making me feel so left out..

I am going to post my New Year story instead

We celebrated 2016 Happy New Year back at Big-big-boss hometown in Morioka, Iwate.

I was actually expected more snow and to play in the snow!
But too bad that this season “snow” is not visiting enough..

Even ski resorts were not opening coz of the lack of snow..(except in Hokkaido I guess..)

Anyways, Little-big-boss expectation was something else.

The bullet train

He was literally very interested in trains (especially where we have lots of trains travelling experience and trains watching anywhere we go in Japan  that boosted his interest). He even remembers the train names quite well

Seeing him so excited telling stories about trains, and had really been a very good boy (yes, he never nag (as in the spoilt one), never fight back when friends took his toys and so), we can’t resist our own desire to upgrade his toys..train set.. haha← gonna tell this toy’s story later 

So, we’d been telling Little-big-boss that we are going to ride on E5 series Hayabusa (E5系 はやぶさ),the bullet train to grandpa and grandma’s house!

He got so excited!

We started our train ride on Nambu Line, then change to Tokaido Line to Tokyo station

And finally Hayabusa, the bullet train
(The white with pink line bullet train is E4 series Max Toki, just happened to be there on the opposite track )

Around 2 hours ride on Hayabusa  and we had our leisure time looking out the window with on and off views of the snow towns and mountains 

The train was fast!
We can see snow covering the town and completely dry after a few minutes in a different town.
Yeah, on and off.
At this time, I really was hoping Morioka (our destination) is going to have more snow!!

Our wish was half answered, heavy snow one day before we arrived
Seriously, the whole while before that, there were no snow piling at all! Which was rare at this time of the year compared to previous years 
You can see the snow (picture above) is not much at all to cover the ground.. though it was as cold as ever

As cold as it can be, kid still a kid  *Don’t really care much as long as they get to play (play=move a lot=warm)
Though the mom was freezing to death..

Little-big-boss was so excited arriving at grandpa and grandma’s house that he just kept running around playing  

Big-big-boss even took out his old toys for Little-big-boss!

We went for an Onsen trip on the 3rd day
Onsen is my favorite in winter and specially on a snow land 

On grandpa’s treat, we got to stay in this wonderful hotel room

We loved this big window

We changed to Yukata getting ready for our first soak in the onsen  

Can you imagine how lavish it is to be on a hot spa outside in the snow ! 
Best is when it is snowing!
Where snow came falling down and melt on your face! 

Once again, the Yukata~ haha

We had buffet dinner that night 

He was excited seeing grandpa’s bringing sushi to the table and asked for maguro (tuna) 
Yeah, he’d been watching some story about maguro recently and that was why he got all so excited

Brushing teeth ready to sleeeeeeep~

The story behind:
We thought of putting Little-big-boss to sleep first (around 7pm), then Big-bog-boss and I planned to go for another onsen bath before bed..

“PLAN FAILED” 

Obviously at 7pm! was too early..
Little-big-boss sensed it that we were up to something and wouldn’t want to stay with grandpa and grandma in the room next door..
So no other choice but to tag my little cute Little-big-boss along

We stayed just for a night here though I wished to stay longer 
So that we could play in their indoor pool too

Even just for a night, it was a great refreshment with grandpa and grandma together

Now, we were back home and ready for  Happy New Year celebration  

On New Year’s eve we had a Japanese style feast! お節 

The next morning on New Year 1st day, we went to a nearby temple for our first pray, hatsumoude (初詣) 
And had a little snow-playing-time at the Robot playground again 

Well, this was how we celebrated New Year peacefully at home with family 
Quite a simple one, but a Japanese-style home celebration

On the 2nd, we were back in Tokyo.
We were in a rush when heading to the station, too bad didn’t get to take some proper photos with grandpa and grandma..

We were on E2 series Hayate (E2系 はやて) bullet train back to Tokyo  

All excited getting to ride and meet his loved trains lining up at Tokyo station 

E7 series Kagayaki (E7系 かがやき)
Happened to be on the opposite track of our Hayate

And guess what  All pampered by grandpa and grandma, he got his most wanted toy (at this moment), Plarail train set from Takara Tomy of E5 series Hayabusa and E6 series Komachi connecting bullet train (プラレール E5系とE6系新幹線連結セット)  

You’d be surprised when you see how his train set has expanded.. ←　Toy story next round

It was my birthday!  – 3 weeks ago

Before I’ve been hired by my Little-big-boss,
I was a treated like a princess on my birthday,
in a wonderland 
-Yes, my birthdays were celebrated in Disneyland or DisneySea every year since 2007 till 2012 (when Little-big-boss is 3 months old), straight 6 years!!

Since then.. yeah, I guess I was no longer a princess

Maybe a erm.. a queen? a maid?  haha

Anyway, I always will not know what the Big-big-boss gonna be planning.
I was half expecting something, but half trying to NOT expect too much

(Moreover, we had a little fight before the day..)

And so, my day started like this..

In the morning, I ran my routine as usual.

Making breakfast for my Little-big-boss, do the laundry, (wondering if the Big-big-boss is skipping work..  well, he used to)
and while watching the kids programme on TV..
The Big-big-boss came in and wished me “Happy Birthday” with a kiss
and then off he went to work ..

Oh, that means,

Rather than having a normal, I guess I need to plan something! for my day!! by myself!!! 

A quick and easy plan!

And so, this was my day with Little-big-boss

We arrived to this park!
Mitsuike Park (三ツ池公園), a park with 3 beautiful lakes and great views .

My birthday park picnic day with Little-big-boss ended up here.
Though not in a wonderland, I still really quite satisfied with the day 
Just that it looks more like Little-big-boss’s birthday rather than mine 
(I  this park )

We went home, had our bath,

and just when we finished our home dinner..

the Big-big-boss came back!
