2010 Happy New Year!!!★2010/01/03 18:39
Happy New Year 2010
Can’t believe another year has passed..
It’s 2010 now and we are no longer able to write
200?, double “0” anymore..
My 2010 New Year’s resolutions would be..
Be happy, be young, be energetic, be exciting, be challenging and be Rich
wahaha
Anyway, snow storm on the first day of 2010 here in Niseko
And everything everywhere is as white as ever in the morning~
White powder topping cute~
But real hard to dig the car out from there.. it’s Samara’s car..
Forget about the car coz today, we’ll be taking the bus for our New Year’s journey.
Croissant, french fries and vanilla ice cream
Not a very healthy meal for breakfast。。
I normally have coffee and muffin for breakfast here…(muffins were really nice )
My 2nd time up to the mountain without an instructor..
The first time when I went up there, I nearly thought that I’m gonna stuck up in the mountain forever for it was almost impossible for me to get down that slope safely
Can’t believe they said that, Silver Dream course, is a course for beginner..
Am I not even at a beginner level
Well, I’m back to the base safe and sound now…though having a few humpty dumpty fell throughout the whole course..
My 2nd try was not as bad…
Erm…as in ‘falling’..
But having a great snow storm up in the mountain…
It was all calm and beautiful down at the base of the mountain..
Never expect it to be a STORM up there
It was all WHITE-OUT, can’t see a thing from 2 meters away..
That was really bad and we thought of going down by the lift..
and guess what
The wind was too strong and they have to stop the lifts from running
OMG..what to do
We have to ski down..
But we can’t possibly slide down through Silver Dream, coz it was hard even during a clear bright day! Can’t tell what would happen if we go down Silver Dream in this storm..
There’s another beginner course, called Holiday course..
People said, that course should be easier..
So we had no choice but to trust them..
It was not that bad indeed..
There were 1 or 2 steeper slope but other than that, it was fine.
Slide all the way down. SAFE
STORM was scary, but it was kind an experienceIt was exciting
Somehow, I felt the power of nature through the storm..
Felt through my body that the earth is living..
I normally do, but this time is different..it’s just hard to tell..
It’s not just because it looks beautiful..
I felt them living..
It’s the magic of nature..
But never should anyone underestimate the mountains. in the sense of safety.
Anyway, after the storm ride..

Face with 2 colors..
At first, I thought it was sunburn, but an instructor told me it was wind-burn..
And I know now it was actually from the freezing coldness..
Holiday course leads to a different ski resort, so we took a bus home and took a bus again back to where we started..coz I left all my stuffs there..
The free shuttle bus station is just right in front of our homeDamn convenient
We went to the Onsen near our home, like really near, maybe about 1 min walk..
Onsen is the best after a real hard day
And of course,
Dinner at A-bu-cha Second, a friend’s reccomendation
Hiyayakko is actually cold tofu in Japanese with fish flakes and leeks for topping.
Never imagine the same topping match with cheese so perfectly
So, this is how I ended my day of 1 January 2010
It was really a long day for that I felt like I did a lot on that day~
Hope 2010 will be a GREAT YEAR for me and for you~ YAY!
