I 
Summer.
Summer.In summer, what else but a real warmth nice weather! 
The smell of summer is different.
The smell of the warmth air
, the smell of the grass 
, the smell of the sun 
makes you feel happy and joyous. 
Countries which do not have 4 seasons is like having summer the whole year round, but the summer from a 4 seasons' countries where else is just different. The atmosphere is different.
We have fireworks events
, summer O-bon festivals 
, people yearning to the beach 
, hot pants hot style 
from the girls, and so much more!To me,
what's really representing summer is CICADA!
I never familiar with the name of Cicada, I was just familiar with SEMI 「蝉」 in Japanese.
I Google-ed it with that and found Cicada is SEMI in English..

Cicadas will be out from the ground making noise, or I rather say, they sing along the whole Summer.
Some species may sound quite similar to cricket but they are not!
One day when you woke up hearing them singing loudly, you'd know that the Spring is over and it's SUMMER!

The cicadas existence is strong enough to fill up the whole atmosphere of Summer!
Cicadas love heat and they do their most spirited singing during hotter days in Summer.
I love
the atmosphere of Summer with them singing! 
I just feel nice when hearing them singing!

I Summer with the singing sound of Cicadas.
Summer with the singing sound of Cicadas. But,
at the same time I hate Summer when all insects came into lives during Summer
I think I've been facing troubles with mosquitoes, cockroaches, tiny flying insects and all every summer !
Anyhow, I'm happy that I do not need to deal with any cockroaches this summer. hah!
(I've just seen one dead cockroach on top of the basin in my kitchen when I woke up in the morning...only one and a dead one this whole Summer!
)This summer, however,
I had quite a hard time dealing with the one I've been saying that I love their singing sound in Summer...
yes...a Cicada...
A Cicada just flew straight into my living from the widely opened window.
(Totally regret leaving the windows all opened.)
It then flew crazily up and down, fly, bump, fly, fly, fly, bump, bump, bump onto my walls, doors, ceiling and finally landed on my curtain.
Okay, since it stays on the curtain quietly after that, I din't bother to do anything and continued with my work...
After a while, it began to fly again up and down all crazily bumping here and there and this time it landed onto my round ceiling light!
Can't feel any comfortable with this flying stranger in the house...
Yapi volunteered to remove the glass from the light to have it escape from the light..(though his fear to insects is worser than I do..
) The Cicada escaped and now landed back on my curtain JUST NEXT to my opened balcony door! Why can't they just fly out
Yapi asked me to get rid of it...but how
I love them singing in Summer, but the sound they make when they feel danger is absolutely dreadful to ears!

I actually love insects, in the sense of seeing their documentaries and have always think that their world, the insects world is just so amazing and mysterious.
But once they are somewhere near me, just like all the other girls, I'll be shrieking uncomfortable, anxious, and can't stay still until they are gotten rid of...
But yeah, insects are actually very beautiful in their own world which seems to me like a fantasy-like world especially when you see them in a very high resolution captured videos and pictures.

Tall x Short x Slim x Fat
Today's a "swimming-at-the-pool" day! (^-^)
I'm starting to feel fat and heavy lately that I've not been moving a muscle since I was back to Tokyo in May. Everyday ends by just sitting in front of the computer, surfing, playing online games, searching for jobs, facebook-ing, Youtube-ing, etc...(-_-)
And I heard that sitting on the chair all day long resulting a big fat bum!! (>.<) ...
One more thing is that, we have no choice. The media has made taller guys with shorter girls look fantastic as couple and the world who are constantly brain-washed by the media think 'that' is "perfect".
Isn't this perfect for you?

(...back to the 'fat' story...)

I don't know how should I say it, but being tall makes your 'fat' not visible is so untrue!
Being fat makes it worst if you are TALL. (><)
So, this is the conclusion,
Short and being fat = look ROUND = people hate it same goes to
Tall and being fat = look HUGE = people hate it
I knew it coz I am tall and used to be quite fat. Not the round fat's FAT but the huge type FAT.
Muu...(-_-)
Tall people will only look nice when they are super slim!
Where as, not all tall people are able to carry out the gorgeousness of 'TALL'.
Tall people tend to have slight hunching-back. Why?
Because they need to bend their neck down to talk to shorter people,
and
Only those who has a great slim body has the confidence and stand straight up no matter how short other people around them.
I admit that being tall is an advantage for being a beauty. But, less than 5 out of 100 girls have the blessed figure. And the blessed one are the celebrities~
90 out 100 girls go on diet in their whole life to look great no matter you are born short or tall.
So, conclusion of the conclusion is,
People should stop making excuse by saying, " I want your height so that I won't look fat even if I'm fat."
Short girls tall girls, all have their own problem when they are FAT!
Just don't be FAT.
I've lost 10kg after an intensive but healthy diet.
I can see from the pictures I've taken that I don't look as huge anymore. (^-^)
Quite satisfied with the result, but I don't know why couldn't I get rid of my bloated tummy!!!!!!

You might think,
Yes sure of coz, photoshop is being used! Coz they need to edit the picture to be presentable.
But you have to know,
Japanese girls, street commoners, even the fat ones have flat tummy!
Even if they are chubby, they're always just look chubby on the upper part of their body or their legs, but most of them still have a flat TUMMY!!! Why??? (-_-;;)
I believe there were no edits done to those pics and they have FLAT TUMMY! (-_-)
I guess I know why they have flat tummy.
It is because they walk soooooo much.
Most of them do not owned a car because their country provides them the best and convenient public transportation around town. So they walk to the station most of the time.
They have a nice nice weather to walk from one place to another.
They are safe to walk even at midnight.
Their culture is WALK, since young!
That's why most of them do not develop fatty tummy.
...Malaysian girls should walk more...(-_-)
I should too..
Moreover, Japanese have a very healthy diet . Not really that healthy for the new generation as to compare with the old generation, but they still top among other countries.
I've tried to change my diet, exercise more, but my tummy just never seems wanna leave me alone...(-__-;)
I WANT A FLAT TUMMY!!!
I was born not slim and I think I've inherited "big bum" genes from my family...(><) okay, maybe it is not a big bum after all but my pelvis is!
Not from my mom, not from my dad, but my aunties...(><)(><)(><)
(hate it when those aunties says, "big pelvis is good for easier pregnancy. No worries for more babies!" (hou-sang-yong) (>.<)
Maybe it is still not so bad, coz I've got "height genes" from my grandpa which makes me look vertically big rather than horizontally big...
People always got the wrong idea by saying,
"Hey, I ENVY your height. You won't at least look FAT even if you've gained some weight!"
NOOOO !!! That is sooooooo wrong!
Tall people actually look HUGE if they're not slim, extra slim!
Oh sure, tall people will not look round when they got fat but being "HUGE" is no way at least bit of merit to a girl as well !!! (><)
No guys (the majority) would prefer a huge girlfriend or even a girl taller than them. (coz guys are egoistic)
And, I believe that girls on the other hand, like to be smaller to feel cute and being pampered.

Reasonable right?
Since they are normally cheap, so we can't expect much.
Some of their stuffs may look cheap.
Some still wearable.
And, some are undeniable cute.

Guess I'm one of the non-believer, though I love Harry Potter.
I did not believe it also when I first saw it in someone's facebook. Then I searched about it and found out that it was a trick by balancing spoons on the face.
Kids usually good in this trick and make it easier than adults coz kids are pure with full concentration. They focus well when it is time to play.
I can only balance ONE spoon on my face. (my spoon is a heavy one though, (-_-))
But this kid...

It looks magic to me in some way. I mean, how did he managed to balance those spoons on his chin and both ears???
But yeah, it is not what-so magic-power or else.

I actually got a cheaper ticket 400yen (normal ticket 600yen) from a ticketing store and have planned to go to the Zoo on Monday instead of the weekend to avoid the crowd.
So, we were happily preparing ourselves to wake up very early in the morning (where we usually don't sleep until it is morning), 45 mins journey train and walk all the way to the Zoo and...
Wasted my sleeping time, wasted my make-ups, wasted my money, wasted my energy, wasted my morning!!!
My 400yen ticket was valid until the next day but we had an appointment to go!

You probably think that they're sad lil' poor thing, imprisoned by selfish human just for the sake of so-called human entertainment.
But think!
Although they're behind the bars,
they are free from lions/tigers attack, they do not need to worry about hunger anymore for they got fed everyday.
Moreover, they'd probably enjoy more where they could see free-show from human.

Human gives out their best to protect them, human provides them comfort, human pays to see them, human makes funny faces in order to attract them!! where they can just live happily eventhough behind the bars...

We all know that most girls, maybe not, but surely it was a trend for glam girls and celebrities or idols to have their V-zone trimmed.
However, when time moves trend changes!
Most celebrities are now into PERMANENT EPILATION (permanent hair-removal).
Why?
You might think,
"V-zone would be just enough! Why bother?"
"I'm not a celebrity wearing so little and have my life just worrying about hair sticking out from my pants!"

I've to cancel my plan to meet Gundam again!!! (><)
And the weather forecast saids the rain leads till TOMORROW!!!!! (><)

But anyway, after the whole week of hot and wet days, today's finally some cool air to cool down my mind a bit.
My date with Gundam now postphoned to Thursday...
Thursday's a sunny day and we'll be waking up very very early like maybe depart at 5am so that the sun won't be burning our skin off! (><)

Gonna meet GUNDAM!!!
Today, we are supposedly going to meet RX-78-2 Gundam, scale 1/1 big BIG Mobile Suit GUNDAM!!!!!
Woke up at 6am, had a quick shower, putting on my make-up and when I look at the calendar on my organizer, I found out that today's a Public Holiday!!!
We forgot today's a holiday and surely there'll be a huge crowd with fans and children.
Don't wanna stuck in the crowd hot and wet!
So, we decided to postphoned the date with Gundam to tomorrow! (^0^)
Not really a fan of Gundam, but still think that he is damn cool and definitely looking forward to meeting him. (^-^)

The small knife is for Fruits.
The bigger knife is for Vegetables.
Peeler is peeler.
And one very thin bendable cutting board. Cut > hold the whole board up > bend the board > slide in the cut ingredients into the pot > EASY! (^0^)

New generation on Blog
Years back from now, blog was a tool for me to blab out my thoughts, my anger, my sweet moments, and most of all, to record down all my experiences in life so that I can read and recall back my memories when I'm old. Diary Blog Intro: I really can't help it when it comes to big poo. Before I've started this blog 2 weeks ago, eventhough I've poo-ed in the morning, I feel like poo-ing again in the afternoon and that made me poo-ed twice continuously in the same day. 1 week after that, my poo came out just like a rabbit's poo!! Dry, small and tiny. This might be one kind of constipation problem. I've never seen other people poo and have been wondering how does other people poo looks like. Firstly, who would resist *money* in the first place. (^^;;;;;
Secondly, seeing pretty cute idols on the magazines or any of the media, I do admit that "I envy them". So, I'd like to see myself look great in pictures as well as in videos.
C'mon, most of the young generation, girls and guys, all doing the same, showing off whatever they have especially photos hopping to get attention from the internet world. It is a chance, a new generation. (^^;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;
Gaining attention from the world build your confidence and you'd improve to be better! So why not for the merits.
I started a blog so that I have a space to write.

All my video will be mainly in Japanese which I am now comfortable with at the moment, not that I'm saying that I speak very well in Japanese, somewhere in me is embarass to present in English coz all my friends understand English. At least when I speak in Japanese, a non-Japanese will think you speak so fluently, they envy you (Coz they do not understand). While a Japanese will probably think, "Ohhh, sugoine~!nannde?" , literally means " Oooh, you speak so well, why?" (Like when an alien who can speak human language. You'd be surprised...(- -) )
Anyway, yeah I am really comfortable speaking in Japanese now for 1 more reason which is, my camera-man knows only Japanese. (-w-) I have English subtitle for my video so if you are interested, do have a look. (^-^)

Journey to Malaysia 1 - Girls love big big mirror
Malaysia, my homeland!
Trip from 3 April 2009 ~ 17 May 2009.
I was packing the whole night without a minute nap!

Speaking of food, we've ordered Assam Laksa and Curry Laksa which are all well-known in Melaka.
We've ordered the famous Gula Melaka Ais Kacang for dessert too.
The ice was so soft and smooth and the syrup was just, I mean real...not artificial or just taste of sugar! Reccomended!

I got a new digital-hair !
My hair was straight for years and I finally got me a new hair!
I permed my hair with digital-perm!
Not the old-classic-type dryer-perm~
Compared to the classic type, digital perm is
*more lasting
*takes time
*more costly
*more nicer~(^3^)
To get a perfectly nice wavy hair, first you must have a healthy hair.
If not, perming will just brings you a dry-grassy hair instead of a silky wavy hair.
Felt like I was being experimented by some pcycho-scientists!
My stylist's assistant told me not to worry. It will be fantastic after some treatment, wash, blow...
And oh yeah, it really turns out very satisfying for me (^3^)

Latest Obssesion - Restaurant City~!
hallo~~!(^0^)
Been really busy for some events and traveling~
Updating about the trip very soon but later yah~ (^^;;
Anyway, I'm all free from my busy-ness now that I'm too obsess with Playfish "Restaurant City" from facebook that ended me up ruining my daily schedule and sleeps~! (><) I've just started "Playfish" lately with Pet Society followed by Word Challenge and now I am deeply addicted to Restaurant City~.. (><)

Max is 50, so the higher points you get, your "GP"= Gourmet Points will increase faster for your upgrading level~(^0^)b
In all researches, puting your tables around the cookers is the best way , less walk for the waiter, and less time for the customer to wait~
Becareful not to put too many chairs or tables when you still do not have more staffs or else, all you'll just get is a "thumb down" from your customers~ (^^;

I don't think mine is good enough for the job of course after knowing the 5 criterias that were mentioned.

BUT,
we love our Video as much!

News from Tourism Queensland that all potential candidates will be getting an e-mail on Thursday, 26 Feb 2009.
Since then, I'd been clicking my mail inbox every 2~3minutes.
It was anxious.
But a lil' bit expected what the result would be...
that Haruka might not going to be considered as a potential candidate...(^^;
Why?
What are you looking for in the top 50, what is the selection criteria?
We are looking for 5 key elements from the videos
1. English language proficiency
2. Personal presentation
3. Technical proficiency as shown in the video
4. Content and experience
5. Motivation
Hmm...
English. Yes of course.
Personal presentation. Yes, of course. That is important because you've to present to the whole world about the islands.
Technical proficiency. Yes, because that is what you need too to show it in a attractive way to the world to get attracted with you and the islands.
Content & experience. Well, of course. That is understandable.
Motivation. Yes, that is definitely a basic requirements for all job requirements.

But hey, what about the 2 requirements that was stated earlier ???
What should my application/video include?
Briefly explain why you're the best person for the job and demonstrate your knowledge of the Islands of the Great Barrier Reef. Most importantly, create an entertaining video.
I mainly work based on these requirements and the criteria Tourism Queensland is going to look at to short-list the top 50 are no where to be seen anymore...
Well, we can see that our video is just not contented enough on the experience and we are totally
regret about it..(-.-;)
Of course, on Monday, meeting the 5 points of criteria is a must! But if i see someone's videos which is normal, not funny and never demonstrate anything about the Islands who are selected to be the top 50, I'll just can't help myself to think that professionals in Tourism Queensland are just not professional~!
My mate and I is satisfy with our video but at the same time we also think that it is not the best for the Best Job in the World offered by Tourism Queensland. (^^;)

The Backstage~

Sony Cybershot T10, a compact digital camera.
Lighting:
Natural lighting from outside & aluminium foil paper for the lighting effect.
Sound system:
Indoors - No mic. Close all the windows, shut down all machines in your room to prevent all possible noise.
Outdoors - Speak as loud as you can~!!! NG for all takes when there are kids shouting, car noise, windy, etc...

Twin tail to match the School Uniform~!(but, after watching the video on air, personally think that my hair is not well-set enough...and it looks meesssy....(><) )

Simply just set up the backdrop with "Harupi.com" banner, fixed the camera on a perfect angle with cellophane tape.

Granny usually has no fringe, so pinned it up.
Granny usually has white hairs, so covered it up with a scarf..but i don't have a scarf. But I found a big luncheon mat..so...(^^;
Granny usually wears spec.
Stage:
Just found the most suitable corner in our whole house is our curtains on the closet. There's an image, that granny likes cloth..
Dim lighting makes it best.

Dress-up:
Bought this penguin pyjamas from a sell-all-sort-of-things chained shop in Japan, Donki. This shop is just awesome. Anything can just be gotten there!
Stage:
Thought of having all real penguins as background maybe at a Aquarium Centre?...But we've been there twice for video shooting! Not feeling like going there again, and we ended up at a park nearby for the shoot.
Damn, it was too dark for a shooting at 6pm!
But hey, there was a post lamp! Just great with the darkness! Make full use of the shadows~to cover my face,
and there I look more like a penguin with my face shadowed.(^0^)/
Cowboi : Haruka
Dress-up:
A cowboy image! First of all, the hat!
Secondly, the sun-glass!
Then you are now 40% a cowboy-to-be~
We will just be using my top body for the shoot,
so it doesn't matter how it looks like down there...kinda weird,huh?....(><)
Stage:
The same park as when we shooted Pengin.
But on a different day different spot.
This place looks like a ranch on a specific angle.
Just set the camera to keep all concrete objects out of the frame and you get an old country home-ranch-style.

Dress-up:
Twin tails definitely look young! Use cute hair accessories to make a 6 years old adorable~(^^*)
Make-up color base : Pink
Well, young girls always have pinkish cheek~
Stage:
My bed. I happened to have my bed in a nice corner with windows on both walls.
Just placed some stuffed dolls I got from the game centre and hold one of them made out the whole atmosphere~(^0^*) Moe~moe~kyun*

Totally obsessed with "The Best Job in the World"
HaLo~konnichiwa!
Obviously, "The Best Job in the World" is my latest obsession since the 12th Jan.
Since then we were just busy searching every single thing about the Job.
We plan, plan and plan.
We came out with Plan A, but it just seems so ordinary and normal.
It was just so straight forward telling how adventurous,
how much you like the outdoors,
passionate to try new things...
I would also like to say,
I like snorkel,
I swim,
I am curious about the sea,
I am passionate to the Nature,
I am adventurous,
and definitely, absolutely would like to try all fun new things and enjoy everything is my destination of life!
But, everyone who is applying has the same thought!
That's why people is applying~
It didn't seem to stand out at all from the crowd of applicants which are getting better and better everyday.
Since it's an application through a "video",
thought we should not just speak what we can do,
but to show it!
Tourism Queensland asked for
an entertaining,
funny,
creative,
and answer 2 questions which is:
*why do you think you are the best for this job,
*demonstrate the islands on the Great Barrier Reef!
For that,
we came out with Plan B.
Plan B focus more on my ability of speaking 5 languages!
And so,
my video turns out to be quite international...(^^;;
But, only language is not enough.
A few of my experiences of the outdoors slides may do a lil' magic to show my enthusiasm. (^0^)
Might not have enough contents on my experiences and all but,
we 're satisfy with it and hope you'll like it. (^-^)

About Haruka
Haruka was brought up in a country with multi-racial culture called Malaysia.
She speaks English because she knew English is the most popular language on Earth.
She speaks Cantonese(HongKong) with her family since she was born.
She speaks Chinese-Mandarin with her new-made friends when she moved out from home.
