My office is FABULOUS~!
日本語
Time to know where exactly I'm working at now.

I'm in Niseko Resorts which is located in Hokkaido. I know everybody knows Hokkaido.
So just get a plane to New Chitose Airport, and then get a bus straight away to Niseko Resort and there's where I am now until 6 April

If you are to come for a visit, REMEMBER to book a bus to your resort online
before hand
You can go for Skybus.

or maybe others, not so sure but Google more to find out! Easy~
Or, maybe the resort provides airport transportation for their guests.

Anyway, so where exactly do I work at

wahaha (*canggih is Malay, means hi-tech. I use it as "Awesome")
I've never been to the top of my head office..

I mean...

the top is for the BOSSES~

(*You'll see Mt. Yotei beautifully from the top of Mt. Niseko Annupuri~!)
I'm a newbie, newbie stays at the base most of the time..
Resorts in Niseko runs around Mt. Niseko Annupuri.

To understand more,
there are 4 resorts around Mt. Niseko Annupuri.
Niseko Annupuri
Niseko Village Ski Resort
Niseko Grand Hirafu - Hirafu Area
Niseko Grand Hirafu - Hanazono Area

Snow mountain is always monotone, that's why it's always looks like an ancient Chinese ink art
Very pretty~

So, I consider Mt. Niseko Annupuri as my head office and Hanazono as my branch office where I'll be most of the time, working hard to get promoted to be at the top

Daily Snow Report..
It was quite beautiful though a bit cloudy in the morning over here in Hanazono, but other resorts seems not so good with strong winds.
This made Hanazono a busy buzzy day today for all the lifts in other resorts were shut.

After the report,
1st time on the tube
A lil' bit scary to start and always losing to Samara.

P/S
Sorry for the outdated reports on my blog..
Not sure when is the exact time the Snow Report is being uploaded to YouTube and I can't just wait for it in front of my computer... need to ski~
Yay~

Anyway, you can always check it out straight away from YouTube, HANOZONOPOWDERTV channel.
BUT, from tomorrow onwards, I'll be the one who in-charge on the uploading

Easier and earlier updating

Up on YouTube maybe within 10am ~ 11am
You can always check on the channel if it's not on my blog anyway.
Yay~!

Panorama Snow Land !
日本語
Never get bored on just being in this Snow Land

This is the town, Hirafu in Niseko, where I live in now.

It's hard to take good pictures in a Snow Land coz it'b be cloudy most of the time and on cloudy days, pictures turn out very gloomy even though you see the falling snow so beautifully on your own eyes

So aim for a sunny
clear blue sky day
for photoshoots~

2010 Happy New Year!!!
日本語
Happy New Year 2010

Can't believe another year has passed..
It's 2010 now and we are no longer able to write 200?, double "0" anymore..

My 2010 New Year's resolutions would be..
Be happy, be young, be energetic, be exciting, be challenging and be Rich

wahaha

Anyway, snow storm on the first day of 2010 here in Niseko

And everything everywhere is as white as ever in the morning~

White powder topping
cute~
But real hard to dig the car out from there..
it's Samara's car..Forget about the car coz today, we'll be taking the bus for our New Year's journey.

About 15mins ride on the bus to Hanazono 308 and we had breakfast there.
Croissant, french fries and vanilla ice cream

Not a very healthy meal for breakfast。。
I normally have coffee and muffin for breakfast here...(muffins were really nice
)

But just for today, crispy fries for a happy morning, a happy new year~

After breakfast, time to SKI~

My 2nd time up to the mountain without an instructor..
The first time when I went up there, I nearly thought that I'm gonna stuck up in the mountain forever for it was almost impossible for me to get down that slope safely

Can't believe they said that, Silver Dream course, is a course for beginner..
Am I not even at a beginner level

Well, I'm back to the base safe and sound now...though having a few humpty dumpty fell throughout the whole course..

My 2nd try was not as bad...
Erm...as in 'falling'..
But having a great snow storm
up in the mountain...
It was all calm and beautiful down at the base of the mountain..
Never expect it to be a STORM up there

It was all WHITE-OUT, can't see a thing from 2 meters away..
That was really bad and we thought of going down by the lift..
and guess what
The wind was too strong and they have to stop the lifts from running

OMG..what to do

We have to ski down..
But we can't possibly slide down through Silver Dream, coz it was hard even during a clear bright day! Can't tell what would happen if we go down Silver Dream in this storm..

There's another beginner course, called Holiday course..
People said, that course should be easier..
So we had no choice but to trust them..
It was not that bad indeed..

There were 1 or 2 steeper slope but other than that, it was fine.

Slide all the way down. SAFE

STORM was scary, but it was kind an experience
It was exciting
Somehow, I felt the power of nature through the storm..
Felt through my body that the earth is living..
I think I truly felt in love with the mountain
I normally do, but this time is different..it's just hard to tell..
It's not just because it looks beautiful..
I felt them living..
It's the magic of nature..

But never should anyone underestimate the mountains.
in the sense of safety.

Face with 2 colors..
At first, I thought it was sunburn, but an instructor told me it was wind-burn..
And I know now it was actually from the freezing coldness..

Waiting for the bus
Holiday course leads to a different ski resort, so we took a bus home and took a bus again back to where we started..coz I left all my stuffs there..
The free shuttle bus station is just right in front of our home
Damn convenient

We went to the Onsen near our home, like really near, maybe about 1 min walk..
Onsen is the best after a real hard day

And of course,

Cheese cream Hiyayakko

Reccomended
Hiyayakko is actually cold tofu in Japanese with fish flakes and leeks for topping.
Never imagine the same topping match with cheese so perfectly

Uni paste (Sea urchin)
Only nice when it's fresh~

Mizuna and radish salad

NABE the main dish

Ishikari Nabe, famous in Hokkaido

So, this is how I ended my day of 1 January 2010

It was really a long day for that I felt like I did a lot on that day~

Hope 2010 will be a GREAT YEAR for me and for you~
